Ashley Olsen in Marie Claire! I love the Olsen twins, their style is so unique and has been copied left right and centre by EVERYONE from the A-listers to the girls at the end of the road.

23 years old and she talks like a woman who has experienced so much in such a short space of time. I hope I get a copy.

okay, so gwen sold her soul to the devil to get that body after having two kids. right? anyway, her body is hot, no denying she worked for it, i admire that and i love the fact that no doubt reformed to take over the noughties like they took down the nineties. and i didn't expect to see such hard edged clothing on her either, because she totally worked everything they put on her.

emma watson in ELLE uk was predictable, with her being the new face of burberry and an english rose, as they always say, but what surprised me was the fact that I immediately fell in love her!

I kind of put emma watson in the catagory of keira knightley, but I suppose emma is richer than keira, and more composed and humble than keira. I'm going to bet that after this whole franchise of HP, emma will go to college, finish college, and then re-emerge into the spotlight with either a critically acclaimed indie film or an oscar nominated performance OR she joins an american tv show and wins a golden globe and an emmy.

I'm not denying her talent, next to daniel and rupert who are both so embarrassingly wooden, she has some good acting skills and the ability to appeal to everyone. If you have ever seen her in an american tv interview with letterman or leno, she immediately finds a connection from the beginning right through to the end; like she has been doing this her WHOLE life, not just ten years of it, her WHOLE life.

I saw the film, didn't like it compared to the book, but beggars can't be choosers right? they probably aim towards the non-reading group of the audience.

Are you SPUN?!

Late night television is ALWAYS a hidden treasure chest of copper, silver and gold. SPUN (2004) is one of these pieces of gold I discovered a long time ago, it's not just because it completely sensationalizes meth addicition, but because it's artistically stunning, with brittany murphy's wardrobe and john leguizamo's body in them tight skinny leather pants. Also, mickey rourke gives an amazing performance.



mena suvari used resin on her own teeth, that had to be professionally cleaned off after filming, to make them look grungier. If that's not dedication to a pretty small independant film, I don't know what else is. Right cast, and a fucking awesome location.

For a film shot in only 22 days, it looks fucking amazing.

Sugar Rush

Back when, four years ago, I was 14 and more than a little curious OF THE WORLD, nothing more. Channel 4 created this great drama, which was shown so late that it achieved an almost cult like following and recieved critical acclaim for it's courageous adaptation of a book that we would only read the naughty parts from.

It revolves around a 15 year old girl, who smokes, drinks and fantasizes over her new friend maria 'sugar' sweet. Kimberley daniels is using her toothbrush as a vibrator, attmepting to get laid to see if she really is gay or not and sugar isn't helping her one bit by her over sexualised image and teasing nature.





Set in brighton, a bohemian seaside destination described by kimberley (through narration, which is also a good part of the show) as 'sin city' and 'sleazy' which I don't know is true or not, but brighton is definitley where the crazy night life is.

I don't know whether it was catching her mother stella fucking the diy helper in the middle of the day, or the crazy relationship she has with her dad and weirdo little brother, that got me hooked; but like so many other people, it was probably the great mature actors chosen to portray these characters adapted from a book on a shelf that got us hooked on the sugar phenomenom.



Get familiar with it, even though it was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts, do not pass it over because of this. With two seasons and 20 episodes, it didn't feel like it was twenty at all. Even though it was shown years ago, I still remember the good bits.

This gave 'Skins' its first breath, and paved the way for more teenage sexual escapades that channel 4 latched onto. Is it too much to ask for a reunion?

Believe me, I was skeptic when I heard that 'little j' was the front woman of a punk rock-esque band, but she left me SHOCKED and I mean so fucking shocked it was unbelievable. The crossover between joan jett and courtney love, and the good music behind her, wasn't painful at all. I'd gladly waste an hour of my life listening and watching them perform. The antidote to all the miley cyrus crap and demi levato and jonas brothers shit. I'd be happy listening and watching Taylor instead of the other high profile musicians out right now.

Mad Men is coming back on television this summer '09, and from the period between when it finished last year to now the world has been inundated with the stick thin shenanigans of Lindsay and Kristin Stewart and I think what the world needs is some old Marilyn Monroe inspired fashions from the 1950's like Mad Men has been giving us for the past two years.

The smooth movement and picture perfect image needs to make a comeback, and Mad Men is joining the revolution on a wide audience scale.
